In August, 2005 when hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans , it took six days before federal rescue workers were sent. Nearly a thousand people died. In this age of “Homeland Security” the government's response to the crisis was pathetic, abysmal, incompetent, bureaucratic, ineffective, too late.

This is what the Mapping Freedom Project is about. It is an explanation of the nature and dynamics of property and society. It is a scientific proposition to end police states and war and poverty.

Question:

How can a science solve society's great political problems?

Answer:

Scientific thinking - not politics - has always been the key to humankind's evolutionary success. This has been true from paleolithic times to present day. Science, not politics, created our agrarian revolution, industrial revolution, technological revolution, and digital revolution. Science, not politics, will create freedom and end poverty and end wars.

Question:

Is this some kind of socialism or a religion?

Answer:

Mapping Freedom is not politics in any form – it is not communism, not socialism, not anarchy, not fascism, not representative democracy. It is also not a religion, not a conspiracy theory and not new age. The Mapping Freedom Project is a novel hypothesis, built using the well-established techniques of scientific epistemology: semantic precision, operational definitions, causal reasoning, and verifiable identification of natural phenomena.

Question:

Even if you're right that politics won't solve our social problems, how can a tiny science overcome the gargantuan machinery of the political state?

Answer:

Because today's State can't defeat a real science any more than the Church could defeat Galileo.
