THE DEFINITION OF PROPERTY

An Ancient Mystery Solved

by

Chas Holloway

I'm expanding this paper into a book with the above title. The following nineteen sections will become part one, and will cover the definition of property and the dynamics of simple property exchanges. Intellectual property and its exchange will be explained in detail in part two.

Intellectual property (IP) is the more substantive part of this work, and insight into IP is urgently needed right now, at the dawn of the digital age. I hope to simplify the current debate by not discussing case law piled on top of case law – which doesn't yield much insight – but rather by developing a scientific discussion to analyze the nature of IP, itself.

If you'd like to read part two, please buy the book which will be available soon here on this site.
